Progressing through the theory components of your course through the interactive portal while being supported every step of the way by our online Educators, we ensure you are progressing successfully through your course .
Depending upon your course of study, there will be practical requirements delivered on campus to ensure you acquire the valuable hands-on experience to graduate confident and ready for industry.

Designed to effortlessly support your online study, while being filled with interactive, engaging and easy to navigate course materials like pre-recorded videos, demonstrations and ebooks, this is online learning like you’ve never imagined. With access available anywhere, anytime and ongoing support and guidance from our Educators, learning online at The French means you’ll be motivated and progressing successfully.
FAQS About Online Study
Absolutely! There is a set timetable between Monday and Friday 9:00am-4:30pm and you can book your day/s based on your schedule.
Between 11 and 16 hours of theory study will be completed weekly online to prepare you for each practical block. You will also be required to complete 1 or 2 full days per week on campus.
12-24 months. It is completely up to you how you choose to spread your workload over a maximum of two years.
Yes, all students are required to attend campus to complete all practical blocks however, all theory content can be completed online. This is important to give you the valuable hands-on experience required to be successful in the industry.
Yes! The course content is exactly the same, just delivered online. Either way you choose to study, you will receive the same attention and care as all of our students and you will graduate with a nationally accredited diploma.
It is much easier to stay motivated when you are passionate about what you are learning. But on days when you are feeling like you need some extra encouragement, our teaching team have an absolute belief in every student’s ability to succeed and will support you every step of the way. You will have regular check-ins with our flexible learning coordinator to assist you or to ask any questions.
We understand that our students have other priorities that can sometimes interfere with their studies, which is why we have a strong support team to assist where needed. If students can not attend practical sessions, we advise them to contact their educator to make a plan. We offer support classes for students who have missed specific requirements to ensure they can still meet their deadlines.
Our online courses use industry-leading learning portal, Stella to deliver all learning content. The easy to navigate platform allows students to engage in interactive material such as videos, demonstrations, workbooks and more. It’s easy to interact live with our educators and other French classmates through collaborative sessions and Q&A’s. Students also have access to our laptop library, where students can rent out laptops for the duration of their studies – allowing them to study, anywhere and anytime.
